Dead odometer? 200 1993

Hi Morgan,

If you tried connecting that red/white wire at the location marked for cruise in this picture, you may have harmed the odometer. I've read of plenty occasions on this board. The red/white wire should only be connected to a tachometer.

The lamps are fragile. Just having the unit in and out will break their filaments. Look closely to see if the filament is intact. You can reach the two lamps without removing the cluster, but you'd have to pull the knee bolster on your airbag-equipped 1990.

Wires in the dash should be a piece of cake for you after doing the blower. :)
