OD Switch 140-160

The answers to your question are contained in a number of the response posts. I removed the cover from my '69 144 (converted from M40 to 41) and took some photos. I also found the switches and brackets I'd stored. I have a spare bracket of the "A" type another poster showed--and another switch/bracket of the type for '73-'74 which has the switch actually riveted to the bracket so it is one unit. As Planetman pointed out--the collar for the shifter shaft will interfere with where the OD switch and bracket need to mount. The forward part of the bracket mounts to a drilled and tapped flange on the lock assembly in my car with the two rearward parts of the bracket mounting to the plastic collar assembly just below and above the steering shaft. E-mail me directly if you'd like to see the photos of the installation in my '69. -- Dave
