Fuel Pump Replacement 700 1992

"Yes, that is a great description, but does not answer my specific questions."

Maybe not all of them, but I posted the link to Art's presentation at 9:33. You replied at 9:40. Elapsed time seven (7) minutes.

In my opinion, 7 minutes (or less) to examine 53 photos and supporting text does scant justice to the effort Art expended in making that sequence, during and after an outdoor job, on a cold, windy day.

I also believe at least some of your questions are answered if you take the time to look. For example, you ask, "Is the sock filter the same for all in-tank pumps?"

Figure 37 (below) shows the sock and says, "Same sock as goes on a 240...", and it was obviously going on the Regina pump. What could be more "specific"?

You may not find specific answers to all your questions, but the pictures do show things like pump mounting, uncovered solder connections, etc. I think there's a lot more there than apparently met your eye in that brief 7-minute scan. And I don't think you'll find anything else here with more detail.

Good luck. It's not a fun job.
