upgrading S90-V90

I upgraded for the 240 to a 98 S90.
I have no complaints or regrets.
Silky smooth, responsive and Comfortable to drive. I opt to drive the S more than my dependable 240.

The 6304 is an interference head engine so it is critical that the timing belt is current. Any doubts about it, change it along with the idlers. Easy job for a moderate DIY'er.
Check the electric seats. Both are prone to failure. I have replaced both my controllers.
Exhaust can be pricey.
Parts can be difficult to source other than OEM.
Check suspension. rear bushings can be very pricey.
I had a rash of electric failures in the interior caused probably by the car sitting. All of it I was able to repair easily and for free. Just my own labour.

Service records are important. Preferably dealer records.
