You need to remove the cigarette tray in the back of the console. The whole thing has to come out. I can remember if there are any screws or the thing just pops out. You can figure that out, I am sure. Someone with seven Volvos should not be puzzled by the ingenious Sweden. They put things together thinking they never ever have to be taken apart. In their dreams.
