Temp Faker 900 1993

Good morning Art,

I regret the loss of real gauges in our cars. One of the advantages of the 240 over the 740/940 is the space to add gauges in the cluster which I have done on a couple of my 240s. In my old Dodge pickup I placed add-on gauges below the dash. I have an older Mercedes (1986) which has actual oil pressure and temperature gauges with real numbers on the dials!

As far as dissecting a 940 cluster, I think that this would be interesting. I notice more 740s in the pick-and-pull yards now and I suppose that their clusters are similar to the 940s. There was even an 850.

Let's see what we can find out.
