Volvo part no. .... 140-160

The 1/2" hose seems to be a pretty good fit. I was actually considering a piece of hydraulic hose left over from a wood splitter project, but rejected the idea because I wasn't sure how the rubber would stand up under 20% alcohol fuel.

The pick up line inside the tank is clear - blew through it with compressed air.
I will have to find a way of dealing with the upper ferule of the old strainer, the only part left of it, that has somehow cemented itself firmly to the pick-up tube and is keeping the new strainer from letting itself be pushed up all the way onto the tube.
