I salvaged a headliner out of a junk car that I put in my 122. It had a 2" hole just to the right of the passenger sunvisor. I used a "tap" light that runs on batteries to cover up the hole, and in addition it provides light when needed without turning on the main light. This would be a very simple reversible installation for you.
