Howdy David,

Welcome to the Brickboard. You may find this place habit forming. ;-)

In the future, use the model and year drop down boxes to send your post to the proper forum. Some people ignore posts that are not directed to the model and year in question.

What's my first step?

At warm idle, turn on the AC. Does the idle remain steady? If so, the IAC is working. If it stumbles and recovers, the IAC is sluggish, or possible vacuum leak. If it stumbles and dies, the IAC is not working at all, or large vacuum leak.

Check for vacuum leaks.

Mr. Shannon DeWolfe -- I've taken to using mister because my name misleads folks on the WWW. I am a 53 year old fat man. ;-)
