voltage stabilizer 140-160 1971

Hello,

According to several Volvo factory repair manuals, the voltage stabilizer for the early style VDO instrument cluster in your car is supposed to put out 5 volts, not 10 volts.

I know 10 volt stabilizers are used with the Smiths gauges in the 1970-1973 Volvo 1800e/es.

According to a later Volvo factory repair manual, the 1973 and later VDO instrument cluster uses a 10 volt stabilizer.
