The 74 has a splined steering shaft with double U-Joints. Some of the earlier ones have a single U-Joint & a rubber donut.

If it's just the U-Joint, you should be able to get one from a bearing shop. Measure the diameter, if it's imperial, it will be a generic SAE part like the tailshaft.
