Possible purchase 140-160 1975

15 years is a pretty long time if the car wasn't put to rest properly, and even then... all other things such as rust and seized engine possibility aside...

I'd be way worried about the entire fuel system. Fuel turns to molasses type ick in that amount of time, and I'd expect to have to replace nearly everything in the system.. fuel pump, injectors, maybe fuel tank and quite possibly lines... it's been my experience that D-jet simply does not take kindly to sitting long periods of time.

If the car is otherwise in good order, it might be a decent candidate for a carburetor conversion. Oh, try to get it running with the injection, but you could be in for a very undesirable wallet hit. Carbs are pretty easy if you can find a manifold from a pre-'72 car, or... if you're the least bit creative, you can make an adapter and bolt just about any downdraft carb on that existing intake... (it will be hard to find one that clears the hood with a filter in place)
