Art,
I studied your page last evening. I am somewhat confused by the connections to the board. I understand you supplied 5VAC from the transformer and, I assume 12 VDC is what is coming in from the red and black wires. It appears the AC voltage and the 12 VDC ground come to the same point on the board?

I am going to keep at this.
