Yeah, do it. It's actually more accessible then on many cars.
It may crack loose easily or you may want to spray it down with a Rust inhibitor overnight. I think 21mm a big 6 point box wrench.. slide the wire harness through the wrench and onto the Sensor. They are supposed to have been put on with a No-Sieze compound but it might fight you a bit.
