Hi Charles;
In the pull-down menu on the top right, there is an option called "Report trouble" (http://www.brickboard.com/TOOLS/problem.htm). The field is meant for reporting software problems like you describe.

I am familiar with what you describe, I have been trying to edit my profile for ages without success.
