Speed-related whine - only when cold

the speed-related-when-cold whine and the deep rumble are from distinct sources I would have thought, right? or are you suggesting center bearing related wear could account for both?

I get the speed+cold related whine on my '91 245 w/M47, and it seems to be coming from the front passenger side. Wheel bearing??
