remote starting too 200

The fun was starting my 89-245 while someone was standing by it.

I also had some fun like that with an 84 sedan. Beside the remote starter in that one, I've done 5 other 240's in keyless entry only, with mostly ICD cheapies, at first from JCWhitney, and later from ebay sellers.

Rob Bareiss's excellent documentation adds a feature I did not use - the ability to plug-in-and-out remove it. I think Rob traded cars a lot more than we do, so I didn't see the need.

I did wind up junking the one with the remote starter in it, pulling and saving the kit. It provided food for thought; how to keep a remote start vehicle safely in a garage without depending on one's remembering to disable it. This car used to "pocket start" often. The ICD should have required a long or sequenced button push instead of the hair trigger.

Be careful of your tongue: It's kept in a wet place and could easily slip.
