O2 sensor 700

Just replaced the cat, but accidentally zipped the O2 sensor wires while cutting the flange bolts off. I want to reconnect the wires but have to withdraw the wiring as there is no room working underneath. the wires disappear under the sump, and I don't know where the other end is - presumably it plugs into the ECU. Can someone direct me, in simple terms? Then I propose to tie a string to the plug end so I can pull it through when mended.
