Numerous users have been legally threatened by a vendor that sells cars on eBay. I have myself been threatened by these guys.

Against my nature, I caved when they threatened me. I decided that I didn't need the trouble. But I'm not taking this any more.

So I'm seeking advice. The threat is to sue for slander or defamation. I know that these charges do not fly in US courts. But I think the implied threat is malicious prosecution and most of us are aware of this destructive tool.

I am thinking about contacting the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) since this threatens freedom of speech on the internet.

This threatens the existence of this site just as spam does (and I fight that with everything I've got too). Your help will be appreciated.

Note that I know these guys monitor this site. So my message to you, bully eBay vendor, is that you are not welcome to use this site and must leave. I will charge you a service fee to use this site to monitor your business for QA (Quality Assurance). QA is defined as monitoring the site in any way, reading posts by you or any brokered or proxy arrangement.

The rate is $5000 for every hour of server time and my personal time (creating invoices, for example).

I'm quite technically savvy and I will have plenty of evidence to show that you are attempting to use my service free of charge if that is what you chose.
