They should turn down just fine.

BTW, discs don't really warp. What many people call warping is actually exactly what you're seeing: the thickness of the disc isn't uniform. This is common in cars that sit for years without rolling -- the discs rust unevenly, and you get an uneven wear pattern. Once it starts, it just gets worse with use.
