Flame trap/oil separator 120-130

Klaus,
I'm assuming a B18, but so much happens to these cars in 50 years that one can't be certain about anything under the hood. Which way are the vent hoses routed?
Take a look at http://sw-em.com/pcv_diagrams.htm

One baffle sounds standard to me. Normally, there would be a bit of rolled up brass foil in the pipe-stub coming out of the oil trap. It is supposed to be a flame arrester - no idea how vital it is.
