You're right George. Although I wish I owned ALL models and ALL years of Volvos, I currently only own one, a '60 PV (converted to 12 V). I was trying to write while half asleep.

I broke one of the tabs off of my horn relay and have to replace it. Felt like I should add relays to the lighting circuits while I was at it. Just the plain old simple 3 prong relays should do I think. And that's pretty much all I know about relays.

So... can I just walk into Mr. Auto or O'Reily's and ask for a generic relay of that configuration or does it need to meet a certain amperage level or .....?
