No Start. Help! 200 1984

1984 242 DL non-turbo with 128k miles. I changed the fuses and tried to fix the idiot light for oil, which wasn't working, by changing the bulb. Now the car cranks but won't start. I changed the fuses again and cleaned the contacts, both to no avail. Please help. Thanks
