HS 6 question 140-160

George, hope you & yours are OK given the weather disasters out there!

OK, if the KN is better I'll stick with my old needles and monitor performance before ordering new ones since I need to pt this stuff back together.

I am looking at exploded illustrations and NOT finding little rubber and spacer-washer bits I see.

e.g. It looks like the push pin has both a washer and a rubber seal, but I find only the washer. And one of my springs is broken. Indeed, without a little more spacing, as a rubber seal might offer, the pins tend to stick and you can't budge them to test the adjustments.

Likewise, illustrations show a brass washer under the jet tube where the gland nut looks it onto the underside of the body. I see only that the jet tube has its on flange, but no washer underneath. I read on a Jaguar site that this brass washer is needed because it is of a specific thickness and helps to make right the static setting for the fuel. (1 1/2 flats out?)

Anywho, it's fun playing with these. They are a lot less complicated than the rebuilding of the Motorcraft 2150 two-barrel on my '78 Club wagon!
