Adding an additional (mechanical) oil-pressure meter? 120-130

if you don't use the correct tubing and fittings the gauge will leak.there is an oil pressure gauge line kit available at a real auto parts store not hardware plumbing supply. The line size and the compression ring are designed for a gauge to prevent leaks.the plastic line is susceptible to damage so proper installation is critical and the closeness of the exhaust could be a potential problem. my solution was: a 1/8 pipe thread to an3 90 degree fitting 18" an3 braided hose to 1/8 pipe thread T with a 1/8 to an3 adapter for the hose in one end a copper line to the gauge in the other an a switch for the idiot light in the 3rd hole. the brass T and copper line are from an MGB because the connections are designed to seal and not standard plumbing fittings. all are easily obtainable.
