Hi all, and again, thanks for all the replies! I have HS6 SUs on my 220 Kombi but they have been so trouble free after the initial tune, that I have not paid much attention to them! They may well need these tubes/jets to be replaced also.
Eric, I think the jets on these carbs (the set on the bench) are the original SU types, the jet plastic is black and this example has a yellow band around the spring. These carbs have been re-bushed at some point and have the viton type needle valves, so the jets may have been replaced too. Do you have the cheap replacement jet tubes? Can I order them via a web site?
