Old B18 . . . what to keep? 444-544

Depends on if you want to keep anything for spares. For sure I'd keep the intermediate shaft between the distributor and oil pump. Rocker arm assembly and pushrods? Distributor? Oil pan? Timing cover for future oil seal mod? You could go further and keep the crankshaft and rods--but at that point you might as well leave it altogether in some dark corner. Metal recyclers in this area (Long Island) are paying about $10 per hundred lbs for cast iron--so the entire motor might bring $30. Enjoy your new motor -- Dave
