M46 Overdrive - changed fluid, worked for a day

Yeah, I won't hold my breath, or expect it to fix the issue, but if it's just a plugged filter, wouldn't I feel stupid for pulling the OD and not checking the filter first?
I'll probably end up pulling and rebuilding it, but I'm not going to have much of a place to work on it when I get back to it. I'm out of state for probably another month, then I'll be at my mom's house with minimal tools, then sleeping on the couch at my old place until I find a new place to live... :D
Opportunity knocked, so I went on a trip.
