Don't feel lonely, my weber carb does the same thing. It just doesn't like to run at a feathered throttle. The bucking can be pretty bad at any speed.

I assume it is a lean throttle mix because I get close to 25mpg in suburban driving. I live at 1100 MSL, so it is not high altitude. Nor does it matter what temperature or humidity levels are.

This didn't happen when I picked up the car, the carb was sooo dirty it was a wonder it even ran.
