I don't know if the 32/36 Webers as supplied in kits all carry the same generic jetting--or if they are more tailored to different motors. I was lucky in that I had access to Weber carbs from different European cars--as well as a few Pinto and Vega Holley/Weber clones. Although the throttles/venturis vary, the jets, etc. all interchange. So I was able to compare lots of aspects. I had the same symptoms with a 32/36 (came to me separately--don't know the history) on a B20. After a few seconds of steady throttle driving on the highway it felt like it needed more--level off and then the same thing would happen--not radical but annoying enough to make itself known. I did some reading in a Weber published book and Haynes Weber manual and then proceeded to compare/swap emulsion tubes---worked for me. -- Dave
