Dead Speedometer Question 700 1992

I've had a bunch of issues with a 92, 740 speedo and odometer. Has the abs light come on? I had a broken wire at the differential and this triggered the abs light, it appears the speed sensor acts as the speed sensor for the abs too. In addition, a loss of signal from the sensor will trigger a code in the obd system, I believe it was 3-1-1. In addition, I have had two clusters go bad, due to the capacitors leaking. They will work on and off and eventually die completely. After the second one went bad I had one rebuilt by Overseas Speedometer, so far it is still working fine.
