A/C compressor 700 1992

I can hear the clutch on the compressor rattling against the face when disengaged. So the clearance does not exist.
I am considering purchasing a compressor, dryer/accumulator, and orifice tube.
If I replace those 3 items, what are the chances my A/C will be cured?
How difficult is this job?
