Issue with AC S90-V90

Whenever I step on the gas, the ac fan of my 97 s90 is slow down then stops. It is back on if I hold the gas steady or when I am on level road. I didn't care much about this issue until last week. It was full of Texas afternoon sun and the temp. was around 100F. The road was everything, but level, so I had no ac, or I had ac only when I stopped at the lights. I was reall pissed.

Is there a fix for this stupid thing?
