GPS Instead of Speedo ............ 700

I have a 92 960 with the same problem and I got a garmin gps. It gives the speed and gives directions if you put in an address. As I go down the interstate it shows the speed the car is going as well as the speed limit at that point. As I pass a sign where the speed limit changes, the screen at the samew time shows the new speed limit. As far as it being legal, it is not a radar detector, which is not legal in some states, so as far as I know it would be legal. At least you would know what speed you are going. Mine seems to be very accurate.

That was my choice as opposed to trying to get a speedo from the junk yard and maybe have the same problem.
