Rear Cam Seal Plug

It is really surprising that it is not pouring out huge quantities of oil from the rear cam bearing.

I have only replaced them when the valve cover was off. Not sure how to dig out the old one with the valve cover in place, but if yours is loose, a mechanic's pick should get it out.

You can put a strap over the new one to hold it in place. There are threaded holes in the back of the head that you can bolt to. Else, you can do what many have done and 'glue' the new one in with RTV to make sure it does not come out.
