It might be easier to install the IPD Bracket with the Valve cover off.
I didn't do it this way but it is a tight fit between the Engine and Firewall. With the The valve cover off, it might get you a little more room for fungers and actually looking at what you are doing.
I spent the time to pull the Valve cover and Bearing Cap to drop the Puck into place. I just felt better seeing what I was doing
