Stalling or Almost stalling when braking 120-130

I'm tracking down all my issues but one issue that I'm trying to solve is stalling to almost stalling when braking. I have no vac lines on the engine or brake booster. If I don't give gas when braking it will stall. Do you think its the float level and not keeping enough float in the bowl? Any ideas?
