The EGR valve could be blocked by hardened crud, this happens when cheap gas is used for lots of miles. It is a difficult job to get it clean and functioning. Soaking it in TB cleaner helps.

ABS will result in rapid pulsing, not slow. New rotors and pads are easy to put on, do it.

Check the hangers for the exhaust, and, engine mounts.
