245 tailgate needed

More details, I (and maybe others) have not run across a failing tail gate.

Likely that many year's tail gates will fit your 1985. 1983 thru 1993, maybe. Beginning in 1986 there is a high-mounted brake light in the rear window, later years had a taller window glass, and maybe some had aluminum skins.

Junk yard or "Volvo dismantler" would be my choice to start looking.

What is failing you your tail gate?
