Better get that water outta there before you have serious rust issues.
First place to look is the door drains. You can sometimes clean the drains without
taking the door facing off using a BIG paper clip, a narrow spatula, knife blade, etc.
If they don't drain readily you should remove the door facing and clean from the inside.
That should solve the problem unless the water is elsewhere. There are other body
drains in similar locations around the car in back (I think - I've never owned a 142,
but I believe there are some along the bottom edges of the body behind the doors.)
You should see if you can replace the window scraper rubbers to minimize the amount
of water that gets in. VP Autoparts in North Charleston, SC has them.
Getting ALL of the old ones out is essential - be careful! I stuck an ice pick about
an inch into the fleshy part below my thumb doing that job on my 69 164 a year or so ago.
