Is it time to replace front strut coil spring 200 1989

The last time I was down there in the front suspension area was when I replaced the engine mounts. At that time, I did notice the sway bar bushings were shot but nothing else seemed loose or broken. I will certainly re-tighten all the bolts when I am working on the strut inserts replacement. I still have not decided whether to order a pair of front coil springs. I like to do the spring replacement together with the insert replacement.

Other than loose bolts, could there be any other reason that can change the ground clearance and spacing between the oil filter and adjacent parts?
