245 vs V70 in slippery roads

Welcome to the truth about FWD, It's not all it's cracked up to be. You have far more control with a well balanced rear wheel drive car with good snow tires, than a FWD. FWD cars are downright scary in stopping situations. You may be aboe to get going a tad easier in some places, but when it comes to stopping the RWD has it beat hands down. RWD you can quickly gear down and hit the brakes hard and stop straight, where a FWd will have you doing pirouettes in the middle of the road as the rear end comes swinging around like a trailer.
If FWD handled so great, then all race cars would have it...nuff said
