The thread are repaired! The New tire rod went on smoothly. I will be happy to replace the steering rack if you send me a check for 300.00 dollars, as I only make 14,000.00 dollars a year to teach children with developmental disabilities. I am trying to do the best I can with what I have death will be a slight improvement over my current living conditions.

Sorry just trying to do the best whit what I have. I have repaired threads hundreds of times. That sucker is torqued down good.
