The basics 700 1990

Ok. I've been digging around and decided that I can't rule out the cap and rotor just by looking at them. I'll replace them today, along with the plugs, and wires, and one of the people at the Techshop place is lending me his timing light, so I'll check the timing too - with the knock sensor connected and disconnected. If the timing is going crazy, or replacing the cap/rotor/wires makes no difference and the spark randomly disappears, I'll see if I can find my Ignition computer and check it's connection, and replace it if the connection is bad.

Happy bricking, and let's hope that it's just an old cap and rotor causing all this trouble.
