no spark 700

A bad hall effect sensor will result in no fuel pumps, no tach movement, and no spark.
Do you have a small black plastic plug on your distributor?

I think it's worth considering and checking.

There is a resistance test for the coil. You can check (leads disconnected) pin 1 to 15 and pin 15 to spark wire output. There should be two different resistance values. I think they're on the site somewhere. I don't know what it's supposed to be but 7-10ohms on pins 1-15 and 8,000-12,000 15-spark sound ballpark right to me. The coils are beefy and not usually something that dies.

The power stage dying usually happens slowly and is not a wham-o sudden thing. Lots of problems with hot restarts and shutting off when hot, only to restart when cool is the normal pattern for the power stage failing.

Good Luck
