yes, i have 12V going to my coil

thanks for the link, but i have some questions to it:
ad 1) manual transmission, so it doesn't matter
ad 2) yep, i have gas
ad 3) i never hear the pump turn on - what does that mean?
ad 4) no pump noise while cranking (actually never heard one)
ad 5) i hooked up a spark plug to the coil and did not see any spark
ad 6) all the wires are connected - where shall i have voltage?
ad 7) what's the power stage? The little black brick next to the coil? it is connected, will check if it needs to be cleaned
