Your motor will run mostly fine right till the time that one exhaust valve doesn't open at all--spitting the mixture out the carbs. You'll need to do the job anyway--do it before there's more metal floating around. AS other posters noted--now is the time for a change to a better cam--D or K will work. Really no penalty for the increase in performance. -- Dave
