Thanks Steve for the info on the washers, I went in and read about them in the 700/900 section as you stated. There were no washers on the original struts(only a tall rubber bump stop). There were also no washers, cupped or otherwise, provided with the Bilsteins. Where would I obtain these washers? When I pull this mess all apart again, I plan to get some decent strut mounts, the washers you speak of and hopefully re-use the Bilstein struts. And pray that this all doesn't happen again.
