Getting the rear drums off?? 444-544 1958

Thanks for that information. As you may have surmised, I'm new at this stuff. I had only a rudimentary grasp of the guts of a car when I saw the Volvo 444 and had to have it. I am intent on learning as much as possible about this car and doing as much as possible myself to bring it back to it's former glory. I hope to continue to learn from all the great postings here and next time, I'll ask first before turning the wrench on an expensive part. Right now, I am dealing with a leaking water pump. I had just replaced it a year ago and found it dripping steadily from the weep hole onto the garage floor. Another expensive lesson. You get what you pay for. Though the pump wasn't cheap, it was cheaper than some of the usual vintage Volvo suppliers.
