I've been thinking that my HiF's need to be rebuilt for awhile now, but would like a second opinion. The symptoms I've experienced are; bogging down when i step on the gas from a standstill (worse when the engine isn't at operating temperature, and on hills), and poor gas mileage - I used to get about 180 miles to a tank and now it's more like 135 or so. What are the common symptoms for carbs that are in need of new throttle shafts and bushings?
